This image is a digital painting of Poison Ivy. A couple of Photoshop's texture patterns were applied to the clothing via displacement maps for added detail; the rest was painted with the paintbrush and refined with the burn, dodge, and smudge tools (the background was created with a variety of filters). Completed in Februrary 2004 with Photoshop 7.

This puzzle was created for the game Bipo: Red Panda Mysteries (available on Game Trove). The entire puzzle is a plaque on a door with a door knocker in the shape of a maiden in the center. When the player presses the buttons in the correct order (corresponding to a story that he or she encounters during gameplay), the door opens. Each button also has an up/down state not visible here. Completed in June 2008 with Photoshop CS3.

This character was created for the game Bipo: Red Panda Mysteries (available on Game Trove). Her head and body were created separately with many different variations so that they could be animated according to a voice-over. Birdie is the owner of a cupcake bakery. Completed in August 2008 with Photoshop CS3.

This image features a portion of an instructional guide for the Nintendo DS game Ouendan. It was my final project for a class I took on instructional design (the aim was to write a clear set of directions for a specified demographic). My instructor was so impressed with it that he sent it to Nintendo in hopes that they would use it (they didn't, but I'm glad he thought so highly of it!) Completed in July 2007 with Photoshop CS2 and MS Word.
